David, so good to hear your thoughts again even in Winter. You’re quite the thinker. And your lovely writing springs from that thinking. I’m assuming that you’re wintering in Alaska. As always, know that if your bicycle (or other) meanderings brings you to Santa Fe, NM, you have a place to stay with Rose and me. You may not remember me, but I was public safety director in Palmer and frequented your bookstore. Always admired your work in the community.
David -- It makes me very happy to hear that you will be on the Lewis and Clark trail again this summer. I look forward to hearing all about your new adventures!
Santa Fe. The oldest state capital in the US. And the highest altitude. And it’s so friendly and welcoming. The largest ethnic group are Latinos. They are so welcoming (I do speak Spanish). Then the Pueblo Indians. Wonderful people. We so love it here. 505-557-5875 is my cell. Would love to have you all here. We have a lovely guest room for you. We also have three cars and a pickup so you wouldn’t need to rent a car.
Wow. David. We hope you make it our way! And what a wonderfully in-depth article you wrote. Always a joy to read!

You’re both more than welcome here.
